How much weight can I lose?

Is your weight loss program safe if I take other prescription medications?
Our team of weight loss specialists will assess your unique situation and tailor your weight loss regimen to suit your individual needs. This involves considering any existing medical conditions, medications, hypertension, heart disease, hormone imbalances, and cholesterol levels.
It’s essential to recognize that embracing a healthy weight and lifestyle can mitigate or even resolve many ailments stemming from excess weight. Prioritizing effective weight management is pivotal for your overall health and wellness.
What are your medications compounded with?
LifeRx.md uses 503a and 503b FDA-registered ingredients to make safe, high-quality medications without salts like sodium chloride or citrate, which can affect their work. We offer cleaner formulations that can be personalized with optional additives like fat burners, B6, B12, or levocarnitine to support your health goals. You can also choose to exclude certain additives.
Since everyone’s body is different, your medication is made just for you. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you have allergies, or health conditions, or take any supplements, so we can ensure your medication fits your needs and keeps you safe.
Are there any medical conditions that would disqualify me from the weight loss program?
You will be ineligible for the program if you:
- Have thyroid disease (Exception: if managed by your primary care physician).
- Are undergoing chemotherapy
- Are under 18 years of age
Are there any side effects?
Side effects depend entirely on what program is put together for you. In some cases, there can be nominal side effects. Those are things you can discuss with the provider. They can put together a program specific to your needs and medical history. Our goal is your safety, comfort, and success!
Are there any medical conditions that would disqualify me from the weight loss program?

LifeRx.md Membership Questions
Does everyone qualify for the weight loss program / BMI?
LifeRx.md provides a variety of prescriptions, including GLP-1 medications and supplements. To be considered for GLP medications, one must have a BMI of 30 or greater for obesity or a BMI of 27 or greater for overweight in the presence of at least one weight-related comorbid condition such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol.
For maintenance dosing, a BMI of 23 or higher is required, and you are currently on or have recently been on a GLP1 medication.
However, BMI is just one factor in determining eligibility, and LifeRx.md’s licensed medical professionals will customize a program tailored to your individual needs and goals. Our priority is to provide you with the necessary information and tools to achieve and maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.

Is there an age limit to join?

How do I schedule a consultation with the provider?
As soon as you fill out and sign the paperwork (DocuSign), make the one-time payment of $49.95, and submit it. We will schedule you for the next available telemedicine (Zoom) appointment.
Do I have to see a doctor/provider or join the program to get a prescription?
Certainly, to obtain the prescription, you’ll need to undergo an initial evaluation with a licensed provider who will carefully review your medical history and offer personalized recommendations. This assessment is conducted via telemedicine/Zoom call and requires a fee of $49.95. Following this, our experienced medical team will determine the most suitable medications for you.
How frequently should I schedule consultations with a Doctor/Provider?

Is there a long-term contract that I have to sign?
What is the DocuSign form that I am being asked to submit?
Do I have to have bloodwork done?
- Common blood tests include A1C, CMP, CBC, TSH, and Lipids.
- If you’ve had these labs drawn within the past 12 months, they’ll likely be accepted. Bloodwork is based on your needs, and if necessary, your provider will give you a script during your consultation.
- Most insurance plans cover lab work. If you don’t have insurance, we offer a $57 flat-rate deal with Ulta Labs (excluding RI, NY, and NJ).
Is this a diet / nutritional plan / or is there a diet / nutritional plan included?
When do I get my medication? / How long? / When will my meds ship?
Once you have completed your consultation phase with the provider, it should take about 7-10 business days to receive your medication(s).

Our headquarters are located in Cherry Hill, NJ 08002, and we serve clients nationwide across all 50 states. Consultations will be conducted remotely via telemedicine or Zoom on your mobile device. Our products are procured from FDA-approved sources and certified by the pharmaceutical department of your state. We exclusively utilize domestically sourced medications, ensuring none are imported from foreign countries, including China. Rigorous laboratory testing is conducted on all our products, guaranteeing their certification.

Why are your medications so inexpensive?
All our prescriptions are sourced from licensed FDA 503a and 503b pharmacies and are prescribed by a licensed provider. These pharmacies can produce medications, ensuring they are readily available and at lower dosages compared to retail pharmacies. As a result, we can pass on these savings to you.
Do you accept insurance?
We offer Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for our clients. While our weight loss program might not be covered by insurance, we guarantee that all prescriptions we utilize are licensed and FDA-approved under sections 503a & 503b, and are overseen by our medical experts.
Our team will assist you in exploring various programs, discounts, and savings opportunities tailored to your prescription requirements. To begin, you’ll need a one-on-one consultation with a physician.
Do you accept Care Credit?
Care Credit is accepted to pay for the medication cost itself, plus shipping and handling. However, we do not accept Care Credit to cover the cost of the initial consultation or follow-up appointments unless it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on the credit card.
Do you accept HSA, FSA, and Flex Spending cards?
Yes. As long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on the credit card.
Do you accept payment by check?
At this time we do not accept personal checks.
